His leadership and commitment have earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Thomas Guilroy Award—twice— with more honors forthcoming in April in recognition of his distinguished service as Chief. Beyond firefighting, he is a PSD-certified rescue diver, prepared to answer the call whenever duty demands.

Entrepreneurship runs in Darren’s veins. As the owner of Dent Monster Inc., a premier paintless dent removal company, he has cultivated strong ties with dealerships across Long Island, building a reputation for quality and excellence in the automotive industry. His background in finance, honed at CW Post, coupled with his sharp telemarketing skills from his time as an investment banker, has given him a keen business acumen.

But Darren is more than his titles—he is a man of action and ambition. A passionate weightlifter, runner, golfer, and avid cyclist, he thrives on physical challenge and discipline. He also enjoys shooting, a pastime that aligns with his precise and focused nature. His skills extend far beyond athletics and business; his knowledge of structures, honed from years in firefighting, and his natural ability to connect with people make him a formidable force in any industry he enters.
